Cavallotto Barolo / Riserva Vignolo - 750ml, 2018
The Barolo Riserva Vignolo is the most refined and velvety expression within the Cavallotto portfolio. Located in Castiglione Falletto, this MGA (Cru) is renowned for producing wines of commanding structure characterized by a tannic sweetness that makes them surprisingly approachable even in their youth. The winemaking philosophy is strictly traditional: fermentation with indigenous yeasts, very long submerged-cap macerations (up to 38 days), and a monumental aging period of 4 to 5 years in Slavonian oak casks.$145.00
Crissante Alessandria Ruge / Barbera d'Asti Superiore - 750ml, 2019
This wine is a sublime example of how Barbera can express itself with elegance and complexity. This shows an intense ruby red in color with a varied bouquet of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a slight touch of vanilla. On the palate, it stands out for its solid but harmonious structure, where the typical acidity of Barbera is perfectly balanced with soft tannins and remarkable taste persistence.$35.00
Ettore Germano Barolo / del Commune di Serralunga d'Alba - 750ml, 2020
The Barolo Del Comune Di Serralunga D'Alba pours a deep ruby red color and is spicy on the nose, with notes of licorice, black cherries, cracked pepper, and toasted rosemary. It has fantastic and potent energy on the palate, with a saturating feel and medium to full body, filling the palate with ripe tannin, refreshing acidity, and a powerful gravitas of Serralunga character. It’s only going to benefit from another year or so in bottle.$60.00
Stefano Porro Barolo / Commune di Serralunga d'Alba - 750ml, 2020
There is a new Nebbiolo warrior in the Langhe. Born in 1993, Stefano Porro took over his family winery in 2019 with a goal to make outstanding terroir-driven wine from his tiny cantina in Serralunga. Stefano follows sustainable viticulture, and his ethos is to let the wine express its terroir in full. The essence of Barolo – its power, its structure, its nuance, its cherry fruit, its aromas – is found more in Serralunga than anywhere else. Showcasing elegant and fine aromas of fresh plum, cherry and spice notes, this wine is dense and structured with great freshness on the palate and well-balanced tannins. Cherry notes are certainly prominent, but here in Serralunga is where herbaceous flavors come to the forefront. This bottling shows the perfect balance of color, perfume and taste.$77.00
Cascina Delle Rose / Barbaresco Tre stelle - 750ml, 2020
The Barbaresco Tre Stelle is a delight to drink. The character of this vintage is more accessible for sure, and the fruit is very bright and supple. But there's no harm in drinking this warm-vintage release of 7,500 bottles on the early side while all its primary aromas are so intact and enticing. The tannins are soft, and the wine shows medium richness to close.$80.00
Arnaldo Rivera Barolo / Undicicomuni - 750ml, 2020
Barolo Undicicomuni is arguably Arnaldo Rivera’s most important wine. Spiced cedar, leather and scorched earth on the nose. The palate is wild and savory with notes of crushed raspberry, figs, cinnamon, star anise alongside velvety dusty tannins and fresh acidity. Blending fruit from across the Langhe’s eleven Barolo villages, it epitomizes the quintessential values of traditional, historic Barolo. While the ArnaldoRivera single vineyard Barolos are stunning, it is the Barolo Undicicomuni that demands the winemaker’s greatest attention. He is required to blend different fruit and terroir expressions from diverse villages, just as an artist balances colors to complete his work of art. This means that the Barolo Undicicomuni is naturally Arnaldo Rivera’s most complex Barolo. A shorter ageing in wood, instead of the 32 months of each cru, allows the wine to be more accessible and suitable for early drinking. A consistently great example of Barolo.$40.00
Elvio Tintero Barbaresco - 750ml, 2020
Pale Garnet with pronounced aromas of blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, almonds, earth, and a hint of tar. Dry and medium bodied with medium tannins and acidity, the palate shows dried red fruits, chocolate, earth, and leather leading to a lengthy finish. A beautiful wine with great structure.$38.00
Lorenzo Negro La Nanda / Barbera d'Alba Superiore - 750ml, 2021
For the La Nanda bottling, the wine is composed of 100% Barbera that ages for 36 months in a mixture of small and large barrels, allowing the wine to express greater depth and roundness. Fruits like dark red cherries/berries are supplemented by notes of vanilla, fresh tobacco, and subtle pepper notes that are followed by a luxurious finish of sweet, warming tannins. This has been one of our favorite wines for so many vintages in a row that it probably ought to go into the TSG hall of fame. You're definitely going to want to try this one.$28.00
Piero Busso Albesani / Barbaresco Vigna Borgese - 750ml, 2021

Brezza Barolo Sarmassa - 750ml, 2021
From the cru located on the opposite side of the Barolo ridge from Cannubi that has a warmer microclimate and clay and silt soils, the 2021 Sarmassa has intense aromas of dark spice, wild berry, camphor and a whiff of botanical herb. Full-bodied and intense, the palate features ripe Morello cherry, licorice, blood orange and a hint recalling almond liqueur accompanied by tightly-knit, refined tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced. What a gorgeous wine and a great expression of this vineyard site.$80.00
