Erche is a single-grape - Dolcetto, voluntarily declassified to Vino Rosso made from a vineyard in Ovada that was originally planted in 1965 and aged in old wood. Deeper, sturdier, and ideal for those seeking a Dolcetto with a bit more gravitas. Dense and powerful, this show a mix of red and black fruits with a subtle roasted quality. Secondary notes of coffee and freshly turned earth emerge with a little time in the glass.
