Olim Bauda has built a reputation as one of Italy’s finest producers of Barbera. On the nose it shows good finesse, with an intense and vinous character and pleasant notes of cherry and wild berries. On the palate it is bold and full yet well-balanced, with a long and pleasant finish, perfectly balanced between tannins and acidity. The La Villa is produced without any barrel aging to preserve the snappy fruit profile.
