The Albe bottling takes its name from the sunrises visible from the high-elevation vineyards used for this blend, with fruit sourced from several sites across Barolo to capture balance and complexity even in warmer years. There are earthy aromas as well and a hint of sweet orange. Darkly ripened fruit leads to solid tannins and rich concentration with enough stuffing to make this a great Barolo for near- or medium-term drinking.
