The Cerasuolo is black cherry, blackberry, and plum followed by aromas of raspberry, blueberry, carob, violet, tobacco, and vanilla. The mouth follows the nose, a slightly tannic attack and pleasing crispness, however, balanced by alcohol, good body and intense flavors.

2019 Valdibella Sicilia Nerello Mascalese Àgape

On the nose this shows white flowers, crisp apple skin, delicate brioche, and a hint of volcanic minerality. The palate is focused and elegant—bright acidity frames juicy orchard fruit, subtle citrus peel, and a saline core. Feelings of chalky stone and light almond texture carry into the finish, which is long and poised.

The Etna Bianco is mostly Carricante with smaller parts Catarratto, Grecanico and Insolia in the blend. This expression is clear and tonic with citrusy freshness and lingering mineral tones. Go ahead, try it with the fresh catch of the day.

This Frappato yields similar aromatics to the rose and is equally about purity and drinkability.
