  • Lionel Faury Syrah / Les Hautes Ribaudes - 750ml, 2021

Warehouse stored item - please allow one to three business days to fulfill. Though a relatively new domaine, founded in 1979, Faury is rooted in traditions generations old. Under Philippe Faury's guidance, the winery has expanded to its current 17ha of vineyards, nearly all so steep that they must be terraced. Both Philippe and his son Lionel carry out backbreaking work to ensure the vineyards are perfectly cared for. The Faurys eschew new oak in large quantity, and fermentation is carried out only by foot pigeage. Black fruits, olives, and violets leap from the glass with this wine. On the palate this is filled with dark, rich blue and blackberry fruit with elements of black olive, dried herbs, and tapenade.

  • Andre Brunel Les Cailloux / Chateauneuf du Pape - 750ml, 2022

James Suckling ReviewRated 94A velvety, layered and restrained red with dark cherries, crushed raspberries, wild strawberries, baking spices and dried herbs on the nose. Full body with finely grained tannins. The balance and harmony is impressive for the vintage, with a funnelled long finish. Drink or hold.Wine Tasting NotesThe nose of Andre Brunel Chateauneuf du Pape Les Cailloux Rouge is characterized by its cleanliness and elegance. It showcases the red fruits that are typical of Grenache, along with the pepper and spice notes contributed by Mourvedre and Syrah. On the palate, the spices become more prominent, complemented by a subtle touch of oak. In comparison to the classic Chateauneuf-du-Pape, this wine leans towards a fruit-driven profile. It reveals its savory side through a lingering finish. While it is already approachable, it also has the potential to further develop and evolve over the next five to eight years.Grenache (70%), Mourvedre (20%), Syrah (10%)Alcohol 14.5%.

  • Domaine de Fondreche / Ventoux Blanc - 750ml, 2024

The Domaine de Fondrèche estate is situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the famous mountain in the Vaucluse department of the South of France. After a nocturnal harvest to avoid the heat and strong light, the grapes are pressed using a hyper-reductive system and without adding sulphites. They are then left to macerate at a very low temperature for 10 days before fermentation in stainless steel tanks and barrels. The wine is then aged on fine lees in a vat for a few months prior to bottling. We love this wine! With a clear, brilliant colour, it has a super expressive nose of white flowers, peach and apricot. Zesty citrus notes on the palate, the wine is mineral, fresh andsalty. Delicious.

  • Isabel Ferrando Cotes du Rhone / Beatus Ille - 750ml, 2024

Isabel Ferrando’s reputation for outstanding wines has grown every vintage since her first release in 2003. She launched Domaine Saint-Préfert with 13.2 hectares, purchased from the Serre family, one of the first to estate-bottle in the appellation in the 1930’s. This is the heart of the winery, a single parcel called Les Serres, south of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Beatus Ille is mostly Grenache blended with about 15% Cinsault from a parcel named, La Lionne, in the Sorgues district, just at the southern border of Chateauneuf-du-Pape and another parcel. The wine’s aromatic constellation is bright and complex, wafting from the glass in a mix of red and black raspberries, pepper, a superb base of soil tones, and a gentle topnote of garrigue. On the palate the wine is deep, complex and full-bodied, with an excellent core of fruit, suave tannins and impressive length and complexity on the long and impeccably balanced finish.

It's medium to full-bodied on the palate and has a pure, focused mouthfeel, ultra-fine yet building tannins, and integrated acidity. It's a brilliant effort that will stand toe to toe with anything in the vintage.

This house blend cuvée is mostly Grenache, along with some Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and a splash of Marselanwhich yields an expressive rouge full of beautiful aromas and flavors of black cherries, stones, and a hint of black olive.
