Sylvain Langoureau has become quite the rising star in St Aubin and Chassagne where his white wines are always highly sought-after. His Bourgogne Aligoté has a pretty, quite understated, perfumed bouquet with hints of peach skin loitering in the wings. The palate is well balanced has captured both the lemon & saline-inflected palate and that all-important textural aspect of Aligoté, as it clings to the tongue. Lovely.
