For the La Nanda bottling, the wine is composed of 100% Barbera that ages for 36 months in a mixture of small and large barrels, allowing the wine to express greater depth and roundness. Fruits like dark red cherries/berries are supplemented by notes of vanilla, fresh tobacco, and subtle pepper notes that are followed by a luxurious finish of sweet, warming tannins. This has been one of our favorite wines for so many vintages in a row that it probably ought to go into the TSG hall of fame. You're definitely going to want to try this one.
