The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Charmois has a lifted bouquet with red and black fruit, more floral than the Aux Lavières. The palate is well-defined, quite tensile, fleshy, and fine-boned with impressive salinity. There’s an edge lingering in the mouth on the finish. This is very promising.
