The nose is a seductive mix of freshness and ripeness; red apple, toast, sea breeze and baking spices are all on display in the most wonderful manner. Lusciously mouth-filling with a big, dense mousse. Medium-bodied but definitely on the rich and round side of things with high yet not aggressive acidity. Very much what I would call a delicious Champagne. Not surprising considering that the bulk of the fruit for this wine is coming from Grand Cru classified vineyards.
