Agnès Paquet is a rising star in Burgundy, who became a winemaker to preserve her family’s Côte de Beaune vineyards. She uses organic and biodynamic methods to craft wines that express her estate’s unique terroir. This wine is produced from two parcels. "Les Plumes" is from from the commune of Meursault on mostly clay soils. "Le Topo du Clou" is a young vine parcel situated mid-slope in Meloisey, rich in limestone. The combination of these two sites makes for a thrilling wine that offers a nose with aromas of acacia flowers, fruits like apple & citrus, and a streak of saline minerality. The palate is luscious, with a beautiful balance between vivacity and roundness.
