This 100% Negroamaro came from vines averaging 15-30 years old. It was aged for 4-5 months in used American and French oak barrels. It has a deep, ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose it has intense aromas of ripe blackberries and blackcurrants, framed by gentle notes of spice. It is medium-bodied, with a good balance between freshness and soft, malleable tannins.
