The Triacca estate, established in 1897 (formerly a Dominican monastery) has vineyards in 3 of the 5 subzones: Valgella, Tirano and Sasella. Now in the 5th generation, the Triacca family continues to experiment with innovative processes – such as contour farming, while using respectful and sustainable vineyard practices. The wines are reflective of the tradition of the area as well as the winery touch.Valtellina is a marvelous wine growing zone on the Italian, Swiss border, along the eastern Alps. San Giorgio's name comes from the legend of St. George and the dragon. In Babylonian mythology, Tiamat is the mother of the whole cosmos, the primordial goddess of the oceans and salt waters, and is depicted in traditional iconography as a dragon. Clear and luminous ruby-red color. Fruity aromas, especially small red fruits, along with notes of undergrowth and a slight spiciness characterize the nose. Fresh with light sapidity, and pleasant soft tannins on the palate.

Bright straw yellow with persistent, intense perlage. Very fruity and floral nose, with aromas of red berries and white blossoms, along with delicate buttery notes, fresh caramel, and a vinous character. On the palate, it is hearty with vibrant fruit and a crisp finish, balanced, well-dosed, round, and harmonious.
