From two sites, Björnson Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills and one in Van Duzer, Pamar Vineyard. Vinified using 60% whole cluster and native fermentation and semi-carbonic maceration. ‘We keep the berries pretty whole for as long as we can,’ says winemaker Chris Butler. It's aged in neutral oak for 10 months, it's floral and pops with bubble gum fruit that is evocative of the world's great Gamays. The palate bursts with purple fruits, savory mint and pine. Brilliant and exemplary stuff from the Pacific Northwest.
