The winemaking duo of Joseph-Jibril are dedicated and hardworking winemakers that have been responsible for making some very serious (and very expensive) wines over their careers, but when they started their own winery, they took that level of skill and mixed in a healthy dose of irreverence and curiosity and haven’t looked back since. Their “Carbonic” red is loosely inspired by the Passetoutgrains wines of Burgundy and is a blend of Pinot Noir and Valdiguie that give snappy red fruits like cranberry, pomegranate, and raspberry mixed with subtle spice elements, this is like a hyper-delicious Agua de Jamaica but somehow better in every way.
