The Krettnacher Altenberg Riesling Spätlese Trocken comes from 50-60 year old vines in the Enkers part of the vineyard. It displays a beautifully flowery, spicy and herbal nose of whote peach, cassis, thyme, citronella, verbena, white pepper, and smoke. The wine develops finely zesty and flowery flavors on the superbly light and almost airy palate leaves a great sense of fruity smoothness in the nicely precise and zesty finish. The aftertaste has great focus and is packed with multi-layered and superbly playful flavors. This is a great dry Riesling.
