Dila O is an artisanal winery located in Eastern Georgia that specializes in the 8,000 year old, very hands-on Georgian wine making tradition and sources all of their grapes from old vines no younger than 50 years old This fresh, unfiltered 50/50 blend of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane sees one month of skin-contact, and is fermented in the traditional qvevri (large clay jars buried under the ground). Delicate tannins are balanced by notes of ripe melon, apricot, and orange with a subtle hint of warm spice on the finish.
