  • Lopez de Heredia / Vina Tondonia Gran Reserva - 750ml, 2004

    R. Lopez de Heredia's Vina Tondonia Gran Reserva 1995 is produced in Rioja from a blend of Tempranillo (75%), Garnacha (15%) and a small percentage (10%) of both Mazuelo and Graciano. Its beautiful red color is vibrant and has amber reflections. The aromas of dried berries and vanilla are enticing.

  • López de Heredia / Viña Tondonia Reserva - 375ml, 2012

The 2012 Viña Tondonia Reserva comes from a very dry year, with 25% less rain than the average (at the time), resulting in lower yields of very healthy grapes that delivered wines with nice balance between alcohol and polyphenols, making it very apt for the aging in barrel. It had a slightly longer élevage in barrel, six years. The wine is aromatic with a developed profile, spicy and tertiary (forest floor, a touch of brick dust and iodine), complex and nuanced. The palate is full and round, with polished tannins and a long, dry finish. It has a textbook Tondonia nose and profile.

  • Ostatu Rioja Rosada - 750ml, 2025

Ostatu Rosado is an incredible value and introduction to their range of wines. It says something about a winery when they pursue excellence from the beginning of their range to the top. • Panoramico Rioja Tinto - 750ml, 2020

This is a wine that explores the fresher side of what Rioja can be. In the foothills of the Iregua Valley, where the main tributary of the Ebro River flows in the heart of La Rioja, Daniel Rodriquez and his cousin Alejandro, have created a new winery that's seen its wines landing on Michelin-starred winelists all across Europe. Working with two vineyards that face each other across the Iregua tributary - both at high elevation - that are planted with very old vines of Tempranillo and Garnacha, they've crafted a succulent expression of Rioja that shows plenty of juicy red fruits, fresh herbs, and a spicy & floral kick on the finish.

  • Jose Luis Ripa Rioja Rosado - 750ml, 2020

José Luis Ripa Sáenz de Navarrete has seen the ins and outs of Rioja and knows its wine making history like no one else, having worked for many years with some of the most reputable houses in the region (full disclosure, he is married to Maria Jose Lopez de Heredia). He makes just one wine, this aged rosé from a hectare of vines in the Najerilla Valley, in Rioja Alta. It’s primarily Garnacha with a small amount of Tempranillo. This is complex, layered and finely spiced with nuts, spice and marmalade, as well as some citrus notes. Very detailed with a wonderful savory quality, as well as some taut citrus fruit, a touch of pear skin, and also some cherry hints. It has been dubbed the new Tondonio rosé.

  • Bodega Aiurri "Landua" Rioja - 750ml, 2021

Named after the Basque word for “made by hand,” the 2022 Landua comes from a mix of different nearby villages, all close to the mountains with influence from the Atlantic Ocean. Mostly Tempranillo, in the old-vine vineyards planted between 50 and 80 years ago there’s also Graciano, Garnacha, a few white varieties, and some unknown varieties that all go into the final bottle. Red fruit-forward, it is drinkable upon release, with very soft, textured, and layered red fruit, graphite, a touch of herb, and an undeniably ethereal quality.
