Volador is the first wine produced by Joseph Grau each vintage. This wine shows great concentration of fresh fruit, especially cherry and strawberry, with floral, licorice and pepper notes rounding out the aromas. Full, pleasant, persistent yet delicate and pure, with juicy, mouth-watering acidity this is a gorgeous red that’s surprisingly light on its feet.

Pla de Gates is a blend of Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris that Anna Espelt grows in her Mas Marés vineyard. Having gained experience with these varieties further inland where the climate is warmer, Anna has discovered that they really shine closer to the Mediterranean, where nearly constant winds result in smaller clusters, berries, thicker skins, and fresher acidity. All of the delightful characteristics of Grenache Blanc are here like citrus and tropical fruits, white flowers, and crisp acidity but with a bolder, more luscious character that offers a richer texture on the long finish.

On the nose, it stands out with notes of wild berries and red fruits, such as strawberry and redcurrant, complemented by subtle lactic hints that add smoothness and complexity. On the palate, it is a full-bodied, elegant, and very fresh wine, with a pleasant entry that enhances the fruit. It has a smooth and elegant finish.
