From the young genius who made wine for Screaming Eagle, Nick Gislason has moved on to craft pilsners. Nick and his team have taken the ethos behind Screaming Eagle and applied themselves to crafting some of the world's best lagers. Using traditional grains and recipes with their own unique twist, Hanabi Brewing makes every bottle a fireworks party of taste and aroma. This special Hanabi beer features an heirloom grain variety named Haná that was originally used by Josef Groll to brew the world’s first Pilsner in 1842, in the city of Pilsen, in present day Czechia. Brought back from near extinction by British farmers in 2015, Hanabi sources it from one of the only fields in the world where it can be found today, in Norfolk, England.
