This is a wine that explores the fresher side of what Rioja can be. In the foothills of the Iregua Valley, where the main tributary of the Ebro River flows in the heart of La Rioja, Daniel Rodriquez and his cousin Alejandro, have created a new winery that's seen its wines landing on Michelin-starred winelists all across Europe. Working with two vineyards that face each other across the Iregua tributary - both at high elevation - that are planted with very old vines of Tempranillo and Garnacha, they've crafted a succulent expression of Rioja that shows plenty of juicy red fruits, fresh herbs, and a spicy & floral kick on the finish.
