The Latour-Martillac Pessac Leognan Rouge is a powerful, brooding wine. A blast of dark red fruit, leather, spice, dried herbs and licorice are all delineated in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is perfectly balanced, fleshy in the mid-palate and seamless with a moderately concentrated and elegant texture. The finish is long with peppery notes.
