The estate is steeped in a rich history, having been named after the vineyard of Disznókő, first recorded in 1413. Nestled at the historic gateway of the Tokaj wine region, the name translates as ‘Boar Rock’, which refers to a large volcanic rock in the heart of the vineyard. Made fro 100% Furmint (the grape of Tokaji), this wine shows layered aromas of green apple, stone fruits and almond that are complemented by herbal nuances and spicy notes. Fresh and mouth-filling on the palate with a touch of mineral salinity and elegant bitterness leading to a charming finish. This is pretty exceptional stuff.
