Château Boisson is a stunning estate located at the gateway of Cadillac in the small municipality of Beguey. Overlooking the Garonne River, the vineyard is nestled at the top of a hill above ancient stone quarries. A blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris, this wine has an expressive nose with citrus smell and flower overtone as broom. The mouth is rich with fruit aromas and good freshness.

Cottonceau Les Preaux / Montagny - 750ml, 2023

Another gem from GPB! This Pinot shows a really pretty and lifter Willamette character. Light to medium bodied with dark cherry notes, a hint of black tea, and a mix of floral/forest notes on the finish. We were really impressed with how well this drank when we tried it the first time and we're excited for you to try it too.

This Coteaux Bourguignons opens with vibrant red fruit, sweet spices, and a smooth, clean-grained palate. It glides effortlessly, with a lively energy that lingers on the bright finish.

Rootdown Wine Cellars is the project of winemaker Mike Lucia, focused on organically farmed California vineyards and a restrained, low-intervention approach. Cole Ranch is an especially distinctive Mendocino site and the source for several of Rootdown’s wines. Claret itself is an older term for a Bordeaux - often done in a lighter style - from which this wine takes its inspiration. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this is done with a lighter extraction to make for a somewhat lighter but still full-flavored wine. Smooth & soft with dark fresh, fruit notes, this wine works with a wide variety of foods.
